Central Coast Marine Discovery Centre (CCMDC) at Terrigal
has confirmed that there is $500.00 in prizes for the Shark Project installations.
With $200 in timber, $200 in metal and $100 in saw
sharpening the prizes are relevant to Men’s Sheds and worth the effort of
building a Shark Installation for the competition.
With a majority of sheds committed to install their Shark Projects before the Christmas Holidays, the competition will be fierce. If your shed chooses to make a second entry you will have to let CCMDC know.
Chris has asked
those sheds with installations, that have not as yet spoken with him, to make
contact. He will be in the office on Wednesday 11 Dec 2012 and can be contacted at the office on
4349 4756. He would encourage you to come
and discuss the location of the installation to secure the best place to
display your entry.
The Shark Projects can be installed 19-21
December, for the commencement of the December School Holiday
period. Please contact Chris prior to this date to ensure that staff are
available to assist with the Centre requirements.
The auction of the Shark Project Installations will most likely by silent auction during the period of the School Holidays.
