Santa's Big Shave

Santa gets a Big Shave
for a very good reason.

Roy Webb has represented Santa to the kids on the Central Coast for 23 years and will retire his red suit, snowy beard and long flowing hair after celebrating Christmas this year.

Emily
Not one to go quietly, Roy has decided to make one last gift to a very deserving young lady right here on the Central Coast. Roy is fundraising for Emily Shackleton.

Emily has a genetic predisposition to grow tumors. This is a rare medical condition and her tumours (phaeochromocytoma) have required Emily to have multiple surgeries. The recurrence of this condition now means that, at just 15 years, she has active tumours in her hip, rib and spine. [certified by Dr Therese Cox, Jetty Medical Centre October 2012].

Roy will be representing Santa at two fundraising events at The Greens during December on Sunday 9th and Saturday 15th, in the lead-up to the Santa’s Big Shave.

The Big Shave event will take place at 6.30 pm on Saturday 11th January 2013 inside the local club  Diggers @ the entrance where Santa plans to drive up on a scooter and have his entire beard and long flowing hair shaved by Emily. Santa’s hair will be auctioned as part of the fundraising activities on the night.

Roy Webb is also President of The Entrance Men’s Shed and can be contacted during Shed Open times on 4332 1023 or by email on temensshed@gmail.com.
