The Cynthia Street Neighbourhood Centre organised a Family Fun Day in the local park area at Bateau Bay. They asked that the Mobile Mens Shed attend the event. The organising committee sourced funding for community engagement projects to be assembled on the day. There were over 60 tissue boxes built on the day and the new maket marquee earnt its purchase price by keeping the sun off the workers, kids and parents during a vey hot daytime event.
