Wyong Shire Council held a World Cafe Forum on for discussion and consultation on their Learning Communities Strategy. The forum was welcomed with an addresss by Julie Vaughan, Manager Community and Cultural Development. This was followed by an overview presentation on the Wyong Shire Learning Communities Strategy by Belinda McRobie.
Participants were then encouraged to join discussion tables for half hour discussions on a range of topis referencing the Learning Communities Strategy.
Mens Sheds were listed up on the table for finding new and innovative ways of learning. Discussion were wide ranging and included the role of transport, the National Broadband Network, libraries and better networking and promotion.
