The program has been expanded from previous Gatherings with the inclusion of the 'Working with Women in Men’s Health' forum on the Tuesday. For cultural and gender reasons, women are not allowed to participate in the Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Male Health Convention, with the exception of the opening plenary session. This is why the alternative program has been provided for those who have registered for the whole Gathering.
The exhibition area is open to the public from Friday lunch time which is a great way for exhibitors and sponsors to promote their businessesk. There will also be a free showing of the film 'Rites of Passage' in the Auditoium.
Many networking functions have been included in the registration price this year including special appearances from Troy Cassar-Daley, Peter FitzSimons and some interesting developments surrounding the AMHF Awards Gala Dinner yet to be announced.
If you haven't already submitted for the AMHF awards we encourage you to through the official website www.workingwithmen.org.au
Sponsorship and exhibition opportunities are still available for organisations wishing to be involved in the world's premier conference in men and family health – the 2013 National Men’s Health Gathering, Brisbane.
