A seat in parliament

Jim Lloyd will share his experience of a Seat in parliament with the
men of the San Remo Men's Shed.

Access: The shed is located towards the rear of the grounds of the San
Remo Neighbourhood Centre. There is parking in the grounds and in the
street if required.

Subject: Personal experience of being elected, arriving at
Parliament House in Canberra and years of working within the
parliamentary environment.

Members are advised that the talk will be
strictly apolitical and that they should not raise local or federal
political issues with while at the Shed.
Format: Flexible. Normally it consists of a 15-20 minute talk followed by
a Q&A session which will last as long as required.
