Umina Men's Shed is gathering
quite a deal of momentum and interest. Umina Men's Shed will have a smallish
meeting of interested men next Monday at the shed (cnr. Birdwood Ave and Lens
Ave Umina) at 10.30 am. Some will have seen an article in the Peninsula News which came
out last Monday.
Next Monday morning's
meeting will be for the wider community to view the now vacant shed and grounds
and call for interested persons for form a committee. A
questionnaire will be distributed amongst those attending inviting them to join and what might be required of the new shed.
Kim Hopkins of Mens Sheds Central Coast will attend to give a short presentation at the beginning of
the meeting on the philosophy and value of the mens shed movement.
